Quito is the capital of Ecuador (about 2850 meters high). The city is about 20 km south of the equator at the mountain range of the Andes. The popuation of Quito is about 1,8 milion people, and has a historic center. Since 1978 the city is added to the World hertitage list UNESCO. Quito is a nice place to meet a lot of travelers, volunteers and students.
Spaanse classes
Spanisch classes take place at the teachers house, in Soutern Quito. When there are a lot of students it could be possible to have Spanish classes in groups of two. But we aim to have classes 1 on 1. It’s a nice combination to live with a host family.

Volunteer projects in Ecuador
Volunteers can help at the local primary school to teach English & and computer lessons. We also have projects for children individual. Also students psycology or social workers are very welcome.
At an other primary school in Quito volunteers can help with the classes. Here you can assist the teacher with the daily work. Trainees kan investigate and work on own projects in the field of self-help. At these two projects working independant is very important.
Daycare for handicaped children. You will help together with the staff with daily tasks We have a lot of opportunities for physiotherapists. Also at this project it is important to work independantly. At these 3 projects your Spanish must be at advanced level!
Childrens playhouse/ market project; at this project you plan activities for the children and help accomplish them.
