About Pura Vida
In 2004 the idea of Pura Vida originated after I did a language study and did volunteer work for several times in Costa Rica. During one of my trips I also visited beautiful Guatemala. When I came back to the Netherlands I decided to establish a company to offer language studies and volunteer work in these two countries. This is the best way to learn about the country and his customs. Because a lot of people combine Costa Rica and Panama in their trips we later added Panama to our program. Later we added Ecuador, Peru and Argentina.
Whole year round you can start a language study of your choice. You decide the period of your study yourself. As from 1 week until as long as you want. You can choose to stay with a host family or your can rent an apartment. You will have plenty of opportunities to do volunteer work, like working in healthcare, working with children, teaching English or working in a national park. You will arrange the flight yourself, but you can count on advice and assistance of Pura Vida!
As soon as you signed up you will receive all details about the language school, the host family or apartment, and the volunteer project. We will arrange airport pick-up and everything will be arranged for you to have a good start in the country of your choise. We wish you lots of success with this special experience!!
